The Projects Department, set up in 2011, is responsible - through its team of (Conservation) Architects and Project Managers - for the design, planning, and implementation of all major capital projects undertaken by the Agency.

These include multi-million restoration and rehabilitation projects, both funded by the EU and locally, such as the Grand Master’s Palace, Fort St Angelo, the Malta Maritime Museum, and MUŻA, to mention just a few.
The department comprises a team mainly composed of dedicated architects, mostly specialized in the field of conservation, who generally take on the role of project leaders for such initiatives.
